When one imagines a power plant, it’s easy to picture a large facility surrounded by a tall fence, housing a control room and visitor building, with tall smokestacks for exhaust. However, a Solar Power Plant has no boilers or smokestacks, just rows of solar panels stretching to the horizon.

Then, one might wonder why solar power needs so much land. What if it was installed on buildings in a city instead? There’s no reason this can’t happen. Connecting solar power between several buildings makes it “virtual,” and this is the first major project of the Blue Jhasha Group.

Blue Jhasha believes that any investment in students and education is an investment in the future. The Solar Dawn Project is a drive to support the growth of solar power while also offering new educational opportunities for students to witness the transition to renewable energy, first-hand, and financial opportunities for school administrations to gain a new source of passive income, further enhancing the education the future citizens of Chandigarh.
